Clark Datchler, former lead singer of Johnny Hates Jazz, released his second solo CD, "Tomorrow" in September. The 12-track album includes 11 new songs and a jazz-influenced remake of "Shattered Dreams." This is Datchler's first new material since "Raindance" in 1990. Unlike that hard-to-find Japanese release, "Tomorrow" is available in the US through Amazon and also from
http://www.clarkdatchler.com, where you can download a free mp3 of the track "Nothing Left to Lose." My disc arrived today from Amazon, and I am very pleased with it; if you are a fan of JHJ, you will want a copy for sure. Incidentally, JHJ (without Datchler) will be touring the UK in May as part of the 2008 Here and Now tour with Rick Astley, Bananarama, Paul Young. ABC (whose new CD, "Traffic," is also due out soon), Cutting Crew and Curiosity Killed the Cat. I am assuming this JHJ lineup is all or part of the one that recorded the "Tall Stories" CD (also Japan-only) in 1991.
