Someone remind me again what the premise of JLA Classified is? Are these "classic" stories, from a bygone JLA, but new (never told)?

What does it mean about the first two parts of five part epic? Are Stern and Byrne doing all five as announced? Hint: please say yes.

I'm looking forward to this, I think it's all five issues of the run for Stern & Byrne. It looks like the beginning of 2008 is going to be a busy year for Byrne with the JLA Classified arc, the Star Trek Romulans book and FX.
