Hi Roger,

Let me begin by saying how much I have enjoyed reading and rereading your stories over the years. You are on a short list of writers who I am never disappointed with.

Now for my question - There has been talk of a Captain America film from Marvel's production deal. I'd love if you were to write the script... if you got your chance would you prefer a filmed CA movie to take place during WWII, In the present, or beginning in the past and waking Cap in modern times for the 2nd half of the movie? Or something else entirely? Even if you did not care to write it, what would you prefer to watch? Thanks!

There are so many ways Cap could be handled for film. You could start in the past and jump to now...you could start in the here and now and flashback to the past.

I don't have any real preferences as of yet.

(The Lone Ranger is another matter.)

I'll second the motion for Roger to write the Cap script!
This is as good a place as any to mention I picked up the "War and Remembrance" trade this past Wednesday. I'm enjoying it very much so far. Your Cap is the guy I enjoy reading, as I think he fits in perfectly with the Lee/Kirby stuff I've read in the Essentials.
I wish you'd been able to tell your Red Skull story. The run ended too soon.

Thanks for the answer, Roger! Hopefully we will see movement on a film soon.
