1. I was given my name directly by Linda, and soon after became a Mod.

2. I’m married and have 3 kids; Mrs. Judge, Judge Quickfoot, Judge Googie, and Judge Jr. Racecar.

3. Robert Kowalewski, of IMWAN fame, lives about 10 to 15 minutes from me, but I’ve never met him in person.

4. I am supervisor of a sign shop. This is funny in light of the fact that Robert Kowalewski also works in the sign industry, and lives about 10 to 15 minutes from me, but I’ve never met him in person.

5. I enjoy model railroading. I have two G gauge (outdoor) Garden Railroad engines and some passenger cars. I’m looking forward to building a layout in my back yard soon.

6. I have a red eared slider turtle that is my pet; Judge Shell Head. He’s in a 20 gallon long tank with a very expensive filter on it. I’m looking into incorporating a pond into my train layout where he will live outdoors most of the warm weather days.

7. I attended School of Visual Arts in Manhattan for about 1-1/2 years with the hopes of being a comic book artist. I actually suck at penciling, but I’m pretty good at photorealistic rendering.

8. I enjoy trying to ink pencils I find from time to time, but I’m way too slow to make a living at it. Unless maybe I had 8 hours a day to finish a page or two…

9. My home town where I grew up is the current residence of Marcus Kelligew (also of IMWAN fame), Valhalla, New York.

10. I was Senior Class President in 1988.

Is it wrong that my first thought was a passing wish for some kind of railroad/turtle mishap? I take that passing thought back.

About a week ago he told me, "My name is (etc...) Racecar", which I thought was the funniest thing in the world. He's got a really long name already, but he added Racecar himself. So I've perpetuated it (which Mrs. Judge just sighs and shakes her head), but how funny is it when you kid adds something like that to their name?

This is a distinct possibility. When is it this year? I'll check my schedule and with Mrs. Judge to see what's up.

It starts October 6th and goes through Thanksgiving Weekend this year. Highland Fling weekend is November 10th & 11th with the Celtic Highlanders(the show I'm part of) performing on both days in the Arena.
