a great site to visit is rich bellacera's. rich and i made the original templates and he made some of the coolest animated micros before going into semi-retirement.

I wish I had time to learn how to make these; it looks like fun. Of course, it's relatively easy to find just about any character I want because so many people have done all the hard work already.
