Thanks to you and yours for all your hard work and efforts in getting IMWAN back up on the web. Dealing with Comcast is never fun. It's not even moderately amusing so thanks and congratulations for all your hard work.

For the sake of the historical record, this thread is referring to the fact that this site, the Iron Man With A Nose (I.M.W.A.N.) site, was down from Wed 09-05-07 until Sat 09-08-07 due to problems with the server.

A) The server was fine and dandy. It was happily sitting idly by, waiting for requests to come in. The problem was with our Internet Service Provider and the way it manages it's network. Yes, IMWAN was affected, *but*, it was not due to problems with the server.
and B) The site was unaccessible for almost exactly 48 hours, from approximately 5pm Wednesday evening (EST) 9/5 until approximately 5pm Friday evening 9/7.

just a reminder.
when/if IMWAN goes down, always check the YahooGroups messageboard.
linda kept me informed as to what was happening, and i, in turn, relayed that to the YahooGroup.
