I won't say Twitchy is 100 percent on the mark, but he's pretty damn close to it. I feel much like he does.

As an example, for me Bigfoot coexists with the Yeti coexists with the Jersey Devil just fine. They draw from the same basic well but interpret the contents of the well ever so slightly differently. And to me, that's a glorious and awesome thing, seeing what smart and talented people do with the same concept.

You can go too far, yes. You can screw things up. And even he says, "it's not an absolute with me even now." Which is good, because "absolute" can be a bad word.

"Nothing is written." -- 'Lawrence of Arabia,' as inspired by T.E. Lawrence.

But I'm behind his general viewpoint.

Ah, but the Jersey Devil is a different beast altogether -- it's got mythological origins that cause "credible" cryptozologists to pretty much discount it, whereas they're still out there looking for Bigfoot or the Yeti.

And I'm not going to say none of these things exist, because they do exist -- as certainly as love and generosity and devotion exist, and you know that they abound and give to your life its highest beauty and joy. Or something.
