I'd still like to find "A Whiter Shade of Pale" on CD with good sound quality.

Try the old Japanese CD reissue.

This is a nice compilation-the first career-spanning one for PH.

I'm glad they used the live version of "Conquistador". The version of "A Salty Dog"is also live.
According to A PH site, this compilation is issued in advance of a complete reissue program for all Procol Harum albums. A box set, containing I know not what, is to be issued as well.

I know "A Whiter Shade of Pale " was reissued on vinyl and cd earlier this year to celebrate the 40th anniversary of it's release(I think that was mentioned here). I didn't get it, so I have no idea of the quality.

This is one I'm going to have to seriously consider getting when things slow down a few months from now.

Any idea when we might expect to see new catalogue remasters and this box set? This year or next?

Can you please post the Procol Harum site where you saw this info?
