These are songs that I haven't had to listen to too often and it's a good thing because I would have become a psychopathic murderer if I'd had to listen to them any more than I already do.
the Britney Spears version of I Love Rock 'n' Roll
McArther Park...I don't think it is possible for me to hate a song more than this whiny irritating horrible ....okay I have to stop thinking about it now or I'll turn green and smash something.
You got any?

I don't hate them, but..the 2 songs I could go without ever hearing again, as they were overplayed when I was a teenager are Stairway to Heaven, and Free Bird.

Dead or Alive - You spin me round
If there were an IMWAN Challenge for worst song, this would win hands down.

I don't know who it was, but some teen group covered Dokkens' "In My Dreams" and I hope it's been erased from the planet. As for originals, I personally can't stand "Everybody Hurts" by R.E.M. it's too whiney for my tastes.

Maybe it isn't the songs themselves but Tom Petty's voice. I can't stand hearing it. and Devo makes me shudder, especially "Whip it"

You can throw Tom Petty in with Bob Dylan & Neil Young...they all have some great things to say, it's just painful to hear them say it sometimes. Love 'em, though!

"I'm a Barbie Girl" is the worst song I have ever heard.

I'd go with Fall Out Boy's "Sugar We're Going Down Swinging", Britney's "Lucky", and Avril Lavigne's "Girlfriend" as some oft he worst "music" I've ever heard. ESPECIALLY that last one.

I like that one even better than the DoA track.

The song "Hollaback Girl" fills me with an intense, white-hot, homicidal, genocidal and suicidal (in that order) RAGE.
Also - "All-Star" by Smash Mouth. Can't stand it.

"Rock Me Amadeus" by Falco and "Cotton-Eye Joe" by Rednex are both anathema to the human condition.

I was forced to listen to it at work about 4 years ago now and the thought of it still angers me. It should be noted that I pretty much hate all Brittney Spears music but none of them have ever filled me with sick rage.
Though her comment later made me laugh. When asked why she covered it she said it was because she was always a huge Pat Benetar fan.

I just watched the video on YouTube. Why did she take a song about loving rock and change it so it wasn't rock anymore?

I kinda liked Barbie Girl. I didn't like hearing it as often as I did but I liked that it was picking on a certain type of people that I enjoy picking on and such. Then I kinda like Tom Petty and Devo too. Ah to each his own.
Ah while we're at it I should list anything by the Bee Gees or at least anything most commonly played. The head guy wrote good songs for other bands though appearently.
Because I was not particularly conscious of him before he was hated I can't stand listening to Micheal Jackson even the stuff that's still popular.
I've never really liked Madonna much but her music doesn't really anger me enough to list her here maybe.
