Y'know, even there I'm going with Spidey. Not only does he have the nifty looking original (in blue and red OR black and red), but he's got the cool alternate black and white.

Batman? Occasionally spices up his look with pointier ears and/or a yellow oval.

I love Spidey's red-and-blues almost as much as I do the black-and-whites. Either is definitely preferable to the Batman action suit shown above.

The Mazzuchelli YEAR ONE Batman costume (which inspired Timm and Dini in the final season of BATMAN and all of JUSTICE LEAGUE) comes the closest to giving Spidey's togs a contest.

Both are great costumes........but Spidey wins hands down.

Best costume? Hmmmm. I'd go with Spidey for everything BUT that. Batman, in the style posted above, has KILLER duds.

It's be a closer match with Spidey's black and white, though.

Spider-Man w/o the hyphen would lose to 'The Batman', but not regular plain jain 'Batman'. If he fought 'Bat-Man', it would be a tie.
