...occasionally. The original inspiration was wandering around Artist's Alley at Wizard World Chicago and realizing that I need to spend far more time working on my comic stuff than I do, and the easiest way to do that is by spending a bit less time online.
Coming back to the news that Mike Wieringo passed away at the age of 44, and knowing that he had so much more work that he planned to do and now will never have the chance to, solidified that.
So, I'll still be around, still be posting, still be chatting, and still be running The Writers' Block, but if my posting slows down or if I disappear for a day or two here and there, don't worry. It means I'm making comics.

That's not a bad idea, Matt. I should spend less time online as well. I have a house that won't paint and renovate itself. Time I got off my backside and did some work.

Okay, I still seem to be on the internet quite a bit.
I am getting a lot accomplished though. Finish a panel (pencils or inks) take a break and surf for 15 minutes or so. Lather, rinse, repeat. Apparently all I needed was motivation and proper time management.

Good to hear, Matt. I can relate as an artist to your concerns of time spent, productive or otherwise. It can be a difficult balance to keep.
