The WWWF Grudge Match used to pit Pop Icons (and other folks) vs each other. One of the matches was Bruce Lee versus Jackie Chan. The following was my post.

I've always dug Lee's water analogy for fighting. I actually use this in my job, explaining things to younger accolytes. They think I'm weird.

Jay, Bruce's writing on philosophy had a tremendous impact on my life. He was a philosophy major in college ("What are you going to do with a philosophy degree?" "Think deep thoughts about being unemployed.") and his work compiled in the first and last chapters of Tao of Jeet Kune Do and Striking Thoughts are wonderful. It's like he took the best from Taoism, Buddhism, Confucianism and mixed it all up.
