"Patch It Up" is one of the most badass Elvis tunes that nobody's ever heard. One of many high points on the "That's The Way It Is" album and film.

Seems this one is being released in England with a bonus disc comprising a previously-unreleased live Vegas concert of the King's; I believe the bonus disc is available stateside only as a Wal-Mart exclusive. What a strange industry....

The 2-disc version is very reasonably-priced too - £10.95 in my local Virgin Records today. Can't wait to hear it...

I picked up the Walmart version ($19.99?!). I gotta say, I'm only on Disc 1 right now, but this stuff sounds better than I've ever heard it, from a mastering standpoint.
I really hope Vic Anesini lands somewhere when the Sony dust settles...
BTW, what are the three additional tracks on the import editions?

They also forgot "Elvis In Concert" from 1977.
I'm serious.
I also know there's no way it'll get shown on TV again...
...and there's even less of a chance of it being legitimately relesed on DVD!
(Let's put it this way... Elvis Presley Enterprises is waiting for Jimbo to decide it's time to stop buying CDs before they'll even think of discussing whether to put it out on DVD. )

No Nora Jones? Her performance was one of the best!, and only one of two Chris Isaak's?...
Thank god the Celine Dion performance isn't on there!
I videotaped the show, and I know someone else is missing from the tetecast, I'll have to check it again ...

Norah should still be represented on this disc via the Little Willies track.
