When Stan Lee used to mention Marvel office secretary Flo Steinberg in his columns, I always pictured an old lady. Sort of grandma-ish. But she was young and cute!

Same here. I pictured her as being in her fifties, skinny and plain looking. When I read the Roy Thomas retrospective in Alter Ego #50, I was surprised to see she was indeed a babe.

Comic Book Artist #18 (2002) devoted nearly half an issue to "Fabulous Flo" with interviews and reminscences. The proper cover features Doctor Strange, but if you flip the book over, there's another cover with a hilarious Fantastic Four homage by Marie Severin. "Fabulous Flo" is featured in the Fantastic Four logo style and a big block of text exclaims "This Gal...This Darlin!"

Yeah, very nice. I particularly like the upskirt action in that one pic.

Yeah, Flo is stunning, it's too bad when a hardworking, loyal employee doesn't get their due. But they treated Jack like shit, why would they cut Flo a break?

She looks like the ladies in the neighborhood that always have a smile and a wave, politely tell me when I bring my trash cans on the wrong day, and made every Halloween visit from my kids something special.
