This seems appropriate for Squirrel Weekend, so here I go:
So, my dog loves to chase after rabbits, squirrels, birds, large insects - you get the idea (though he's not really chasing after them, since he's on a six foot leash). If he sees a rabbit in some bushes, he'll look in every bush for the remainder of our walk. Same with squirrels - if he sees a squirrel in a tree, he looks up in every tree until we get home.
Anyhow, today he trees a squirrel, and the squirrel decides to sit just out of reach and taunt him (usually they run out of sight). Taunts him! I've never seen a squirrel do that before. Needless to say, he was not a happy little bear, and lost his damn fool mind trying to climb that tree.
So I gave him an extra helping of doggy ice cream when we got home, to make up for the insult.
The end.
