If you're not nice
>> You know him from Spinal Tap and from The Simpsons, and now you can sing along with Shearer on this satirical romp through a world gone mad as a hatter. Here he writes and performs songs notable for their humor as well as their musicality. Boasting some of the best LA and New Orleans musicians, "Songs" takes on President Bush, the administration, and Michael Jackson. There's also a Folksmen song and a big band salute to the Big Apple. Guests include Michael McKean, Christopher Guest, and Judith Owen. <<

Banned??? Moi???
Some time ago, I guess when the Berlin Wall came down, Shearer recorded a parody song titled "If You Want Free Speech, Go To Russia." I've got a promo CD single lying around somewhere, I never saw a commercial release.
