Plan ahead for the September 10th UK reissue of Jona Lewie's "On The Other Hand, There's A Fist," with a generous collection of bonus tracks. It's similar to the Japanese import, but should be more affordable.

Might be worth waiting to see if this shows up later (and cheaper) as a U.S. release, like the first batch of Stiff reissues.

That one hit song "You'll Always Find Me In the Kitchen At Parties" was one of the great early New Wave hits that I enjoyed hearing on WLIR Radio here on Long Island.

MTV used to play "Louise" all the time in 1981-82 and it always made me laugh like hell. Terrible video-therefore I loved it!

I see he does have a greatest hits collection available at Amazon. Is that a good one to get?

It's subjective, of course, but I'd say this new edition is only one song short of making the Lewie best-of collection redundant. The bonus tracks here are pretty much all the best tracks from Lewie's follow-up album, "Heart Skips Beat."

I don't understand why they seemingly cannibalized Jona Lewie's "Heart Skips Beat" (which is a great disc) for this-they should have released all his Stiff stuff in a 2 disc set like they did with Dirty Looks...guess I'll stick with my old versions.

Looks like the cheaper domestic was released before the import this time around. I saw this for $11.99 in a store last night, and Amazon has it at the same price (or close to it).

Union, does the domestic one have the same bonus tracks as the import?

The Jona Lewie CD is pictured on the back inlay card of the Tenpole Tudor set I just bought, along with several others already released, and a couple I haven't seen yet (like the Rumour's Frogs Sprouts Clogs & Krauts). That should mean we'll get the same track list as the import.

Yes, bonus tracks are the same...and you also get the typical way-too-tight cardboard sleeve from this reissue series.
