Who the fuck is Billy Jack?

Never heard of him either before the nomination phase Jay and some others made a compelling case, but he was popular enough for 4 movies

When I was a kid on the playground, and we would stand around and play fight, the first guy to remember and say "I'm Billy Jack!" (or something to that effect) would draw a bunch of nods and "ooohs." He was the imaginary winner.

He kicks people in the face with a roundhouse kick. And they kind of made this granola-fighter guy out of him. He was supposedly Indian, and he seemed kind of like he was hip to the flower child movement. But he was the flower child who preferred to double back and open a fresh can of whuppas.

But in a peaceful, granola way.

It just seems interesting that half the folks don't know of Billy Jack, and the other half have an instant association from hearing that name. I thought I'd take this opportunity to edumacate.

He was really kind of the first martial arts hero, at least here in America. Born Losers was 1967. And I love heroes who seem to be an icon of their times.

He was always, always portrayed as unbeatable and unflappable.

Some fan uploaded the full "Ice Cream Shop Scene." So you can understand the sophisticated plot threads that are being worked out.
