I have a few of his vinyl LPs from the early sixties and the Rhino CD comp.

I also have a vinyl LP from the early 80's. I purchased it at Cutlers in New Haven (in the middle of Yale University). There was no price mrked on it. I get in a long line. Wait. Get to the cashier, I start to ask how much it "there is no price on this can you please tell me how much it is?" The guy behind he says "It's priceless" Everyone laughed. I was never so embaressed buying a record before or since.

Still he had a great children's show (adults too) next to Chuck McCann, Officer Joe Bolton, Captain Jack and Zacherle.

I saw them live last summer...outstanding.

Listening to this right now. Despite the impressive array of talent on display, Gordon apes Elvis's vocals so slavishly, and the arrangements are so close, that I don't know why I'd want to play this more than a couple times, instead of the real thing. Call it the Beatlemania Syndrome.
