This fun little quiz hit the nail on the head - It decided that I am the "artsy" "Bookends" album which strangely enough is my one of 3 desert island picks (it includes "America", "Fakin' It", "Hazy Shade of Winter", "At the Zoo", "Old Friends", all the ones I like best...)
Attachment "Silence" painting by Redon, just because.....

I just took the quiz and it said I'm "Bridge Over Troubled Waters" ... wait a minute, I want to be "Bookends" too!

"Bookends" for me (which also happens to be my favorite S&G album.) "America," "Fakin' It" and "Save the Life of My Child" are my faves on that album. ("Save the Life" isn't a great song per se, but the production on it elevates it to another level.)

"America" still resonates most completely for me. We are mostly immigrants still looking for America, unless you are a native American. My ancestor fought in the Revolutionary War, but I am still looking to find what it is he and his contemporaries wanted to find! I think we have veered far away from their vision, but that's another discussion altogether. My father was still looking for America when he left his native PA for MI in search of that greater existence.

Hey, don't forget that "Bridge" was hugely successful, yielding 4 hits, and 6 Grammys. And, any album which contains such an underrated gem as "The Only Living Boy in New York" would be a fine choice for me too!
But, "Bookends" is me!

Now leave me the hell alone.

Bookends, which I pretty much figured. I like At The Zoo best.

I'm Bridge Over Troubled Waters. Bookends is my favorite S&G album. Does that mean I need therapy?

Hey, I picked the right iconic painting for your S&G categorization, and your reply! Redon's "Silence" painting is so sad though - I saw it at the retrospective in Chicago over 10 years ago. It's to represent mourning the loss of his love late in life. I was glad I had a chance to see it.

Only if you've been been Robert McNamara'd into submission!

Bookends. (But BOTW is my favorite, minus the title track)

I saw an exhibition at MOMA, maybe the same show, maybe one earlier - who can remember? - one of the more haunting collections I have ever seen.

I've got a little case of the giggles right now. First of all, the "which set of words best describes you" thing didn't have any set of words which describes me in the right set of particular words. And then I went through the questions and tried to answer things. I have this great need to get a slant on questions that are more geared specifically towards what's going on with me. I was totally surprised when I got the Sounds of Silence album profile. This is really weird. I'm not an introvert (even though I think I was supposed to have been one if things had been different early in my life).
I guess what I'm trying to say is that I'm surprised the machine decided not to answer back to me "Your're a pain in the butt. I'm giving you a special designation. You, Steve Talia, are Paul Simon. No wonder you drive people crazy! Just answer the damned questions the best you can!" LOL!

Oh good grief, I'm Parsley, Sage, Rosemary, & Thyme. How is that possible?

I think this is the first time I have heard that Wednesday morning was selected for someone. Interesting, Yvonne.....
Sure seems that there are many Bookends - maybe because of the select audience here?

Were you a soldier or a mercenary in a previous life?

Good, I wanted to share this with an audience who would enjoy it. I tried it among my less musically-interested grapevine and it elicited so little response. It's fun for me to hear everyone's experience with it.
Maybe we can ask the creator to add a little exit routine where we could give "hints" to the process, hopefully to slant it to the desired album? I suppose 90% of the world would be Bookends?
