with a new one being built in Penn Station, on the other side of Kmart, exactly 135 steps from the existing Penn Station Starbucks

I count,

35th and 8th
35th and 7th
1Penn Plaza
31st & 7th
31st and 6th
2 inside macys
2 inside penn Station

Reminds me of a Lewis Black comedy skit I heard a few years back. He was describing 2 Starbucks right across from each other. This sounds worse!

...and not one that sells the deluxe McCartney CD!

Two of the characters in Best in Show talk about how they met after seeing each other in Starbucks---not the same Starbucks, but one across the street from the other.
