I have been impressed by the Art I have seen on this site and so have decided to post some of my own. I like to draw in sequential comic form rather than pin-ups, so I wrote a hokey script which was basically a big DC/Marvel team-up, giving me the opportunity to draw many of my favorite characters. I did 50 or so pages, but I won't post them all, just a sampling... what do you think?

Thanks, Brett! (and thanks for not mentioning the strategically placed word balloon for not quite getting his hand the way I wanted it!)

Fun stuff, Ross. I like your Thing.

Errr, I mean you're drawing of the Ben Grimm. :)

That's a LOT of characters to draw!

Thanks, Eric - Yeah that was kind of the point of my story - a big mish mash where I could draw as many of my favorites as possible... I was trying to channel my inner George Perez and see how many I could fit on one page in those last few examples I guess! My biggest challenge was the ladies, I always tend to draw them too tough, they wind up looking like transvestites or something...

I would have picked that up first when I was a kid.
I always seemed to gravitate to teams with super big line ups, some of those Avengers and JLA teams (and their JSA crossovers) fit the bill perfectly, when I could find them at the 7-11 that is.

Agreed John - I had a limited budget as a kid so I always gravitated towards the big team books and DC Dollar comics with multiple stories - more characters for my buck... I remember being in Heaven when the JLA and JSA would team up and then feature a third team - SSoV, SSoSV, LSH, Marvel Family, whatever - the more characters they crammed into a story, the better. It blew my little mind... and still does when I reread those issues!
