>> "Probably the Poly's best and deepest album yet." --David Bowie, May 2007, The Grand Ball Room, NYC <<
First of all here's the standard edition (CD only) ~ audio samples and a complete tracklisting are available at the link:
http://www.amazon.com/dp/B000QEIOXK/?tag=imwan-20
BUT! In one of those strange pricing quirks, Amazon has the Deluxe Edition (CD+DVD) on sale for the exact same price as the standard edition:
>> Special Edition CD/DVD set includes bonus dvd with 51 minute movie about the making of the album and a unique music video for the title track, "The Fragile Army." This 2 disc set is packaged with a cloth embroidered patch placed on the front of the jewel case, under the shrink wrap. The patch can be ironed on or sewn on. <<

There's also a version you can buy from their website and it contains everything in the deluxe version plus an autographed poster.....I don't remember the price.
Anyway, I saw these folks about a month ago at a little club down here and I have to say it was one of the most amazing I'd ever seen. I was impressed enough that they were able to cram 23 people plus instruments on that little stage, but they put on a wonderful show and gave every ounce of energy they had. The opening act canceled and so they played an extra long set. I know it was at least 2 1/2 hours......and only 12 bucks!

I've seen them live a few times, and really think they are one powerful live band. But I have to admit, I have a hard time with the change of robes to the army-like uniform. I know it's still the same uplifting music and vibe, but it really did have an impact on me on my enjoyment of the overall show.

At my particular show they did their final encore in bright blue robes and it brought huge cheers from the audience. I heard that they are doing that alot more now....probably because of some unfavorable reactions.
