I recently re-read the TPB of Mark Waid and Tom Peyer's Flash & Green
Lantern: The Brave and the Bold
. I'm hot and cold about Mark's work.
His Flash stories more often than not work for me.

With this story it's six issues that take place in different eras of the
characters' lives. I think the writers do a very good job of capturing the
feel of those eras.

Barry Kitson does an excellent job and they have Tom Grindberg doing a
Neil Adams imitation for the GL/GA period story.

I remember that mini. One of Waid's better works.

This mini was a great follow-up to Waid's equally enjoyable JLA: Year One.

I've got part 1 signed by Kitson - had a very pleasant email exchange with him over my Darkseid page from AOS 518. Nice guy.
