I bet I already have more than 10 CD comps for Rod Stewart (not even counting the Faces collections).

This one looks like a distillation of the 3-CD Complete Mercury Studio Recordings, with "In a Broken Dream" by Python Lee Jackson (vocals by Rod) added on.

I'm done with the Mercury years, moving on to Warner.

No offence to our Rod collectors in the community, but when I saw "Seventies Collection" on the new release list my first assumption was that he'd done a new album of '70s covers.

Does anyone know what Rod's next album will be? Is he going to keep cranking out the cover versions?
