The Browns will lose more games than they will win. so true............ 40 year old QB and no running back of any notoriety.

Total Yards = Browns 327, Bengals 141 First Downs = Browns 22, Bengals 11 Browns lose as the kicker misses a 36 yard field goal with less than 3 minutes remaining.
Rodgers looks golden as he wins a shootout in his first game with the Steelers. 4 TD/0 INT...136.7 QB rating.
Mike McDaniel may be the first coach on the hot seat as the Dolphins get pasted by what look like should be a pretty mediocre Colts team.

Can't wait to see what the price is for the Disney/ESPN streaming bundle 10 years from now (of course, there will be no chance for the consumer to just get one or the other, you will be forced to get the bundle or get nothing). tonight's game only on you tube tv....fuck them. you tube - are there any more of these? amazon prime on thursday's netflix on chtistmas - any other of these? any other networks showing exclusive NFL games this year? It’s FREE on YouTube. I’m watching it now, as I write this. Let me repeat … it’s FREE. You do not have to sign up for a subscription. Also, it was not on YouTube TV, which very confusingly has "YouTube" in the name despite having nothing to do with YouTube, the video sharing website also owned by Google. The former is their version of paid streaming cable TV channels (ESPN, USA, etc) and did not have the game on it. These companies really need to rethink branding. I believe there are at least 3 products from Apple all called a variation of "Apple TV".

Jets being the Jets yesterday, actually led all the way till 1 minute to go, Steelers with a 60 yard FG. But I thought Justin Fields plays well much better than the other draftee a few years ago Zach Wilson. Aaron Rodgers was showing off yesterday, still has that arm and now has some good physical receivers (Jets didn’t have that).
NY Giants were a big disappointment.

So, how about the Vikings tonight? Nobody pays them any mind since most of y'all are east coasters.

They seem to be on of those teams on the bubble of being very good but not going very far in the end like the Bills.

What is it with NYC teams and QBs? I think just about the only former NY QB that didn't have a good day yesterday was Darnold. Geno, Jones, Rodgers all won.

NY QB's probably have the same issue as Toronto Maple Leaf Goalies...24/7/365 microscope and macro aggressions from your morning coffee until late night Sportscentre. Get out of that spotlight, and all of a sudden, they can just relax and think about football. Has also applied to multiple New York Yankees players over the years. not so much Mets players, sorry to say. Most of them just aren't good.

JJ McCarthy. Spent his rookie year out with a torn Meniscus. So this is essentially his rookie season.

I'm not ready to crown him yet, it's a one game sample size, but this was a very surprising and encouraging result. Have to admit, I wasn't excited for this signing, didn't want him as the starter, and had basically written him off. This was the least excited I'd been for a Colts season in... well, at least since the Carson Wentz signing, but maybe ever. Shocked is an understatement. I figured Josh Allen went from a project QB into an elite passer under Brian Daboll, so he couldn't be the problem in New York. But now...

One thing I will say -- watching it live and then watching the condensed replay -- Jones was rarely under pressure and his pockets were very clean, while the Dolphins secondary is in shambles due to injuries. While I think playing under pocket pressure is part of being an NFL QB -- almost all NFL QBs look pretty good without pressure against a bad secondary -- it does give credence to the idea that Jones was hampered by poor offensive lines in NY.
The other thing is Lou Anarumo, who was fired by the Bengals last year. It was almost a shut out, but some poor tackling on a fourth down allowed the Dolphins to score. If they managed to get Achane on the ground before the goal line -- he shed like 3-4 tackles, showing it was a player error rather than scheme -- it would have been a perfect shutout. Not a bad debut for a guy who took most of the blame for the Bengals defense being so bad last year (rather than the GM, who didn't give him enough quality players to run his scheme).

Jones is lousy. Colts won by 25. They probably would have won easily if they had started Riley Leonard.
Question of the day: When was the last time the Dolphins won a playoff game? The answer is December 30, 2000. 1 Division title in the last 24 years. Definitely not the Dolphins I remember growing up.
