Description
Ambrosia’s self-titled debut album, “Ambrosia”, was released in 1975 and is known for its blend of progressive rock, soft rock, and pop. The band, formed in southern California, showcased strong musicianship and intricate arrangements, and their debut was both critically acclaimed and commercially successful. The album was produced by Freddie Piro and engineered by Alan Parsons (known for his work on Pink Floyd’s The Dark Side of the Moon and The Alan Parsons Project). Their collaboration gave the record a polished, spacious sound that complemented the band’s ambition. The track “Holdin’ on to Yesterday” became a breakout hit, reaching the Top 20 on the Billboard Hot 100, and remains one of the band’s signature songs. Another highlight is “Nice, Nice, Very Nice,” which sets to music a poem by Kurt Vonnegut from his novel Cat’s Cradle—a testament to the band’s artistic reach.

Well according to Wikipedia:
Pack stopped touring with the band in 2000, after they played a concert in Atlantic City without him while he was on vacation with his family, fraudulently advertising that Pack would be performing. This and other acts of betrayal towards Pack including using the Ambrosia name for live concerts without Pack’s permission while misleading fans and promoters, caused years of legal issues.

Other than that he has 4 solo albums. Also sang lead on Alan Parsons's 1993 album Try Anything Once, and sang and played guitar on the song "You Can Run" on Parsons' 2004 album, A Valid Path.

He produced numerous popular artists Phil Collins, Aretha Franklin, Kenny Loggins, and Wynonna Judd among many others. Also produced contemporary Christian artists.

pack has a really excellent voice.
