Recorded at the famed Electric Lady Studios in NYC alongside respected music producer Mutt Lange, "4" features some of Foreigner's biggest hits including "Urgent," "Waiting On A Girl Like You" and "Jukebox Hero." This 4CD/1Blu-ray Deluxe Edition features newly remastered Stereo and ATMOS versions, and a booklet containing over 60 exclusive photos, five previously unreleased songs, 14 early and alternate versions of various songs, 15 instrumentals, and 15 live performances from across the globe, spanning the band's 1981 and 1982 "4" World Tour.

Originally released July 2, 1981, "4" spent more weeks at #1 on the Billboard charts than any artist in the history of Atlantic Records, including AC/DC, The Rolling Stones and Led Zeppelin, and went on to sell more than ten million albums worldwide. "4" is certified 6x Platinum in the U.S. (RIAA), 4x Platinum in Canada (Music Canada), Platinum in Australia (ARIA) and Germany (BVMI), and Gold in 7 additional countries. It spawned three Billboard Hot 100 singles: "Waiting For A Girl Like You," "Urgent," and "Juke Box Hero." "Foreigner 4," as it's often referred to, is the fourth studio album by the legendary British-American rock band released during a time of transition as they famously went from six members to four.

No-brainer purchase. Disc 3 is probably a dud, the rest looks very good.

This will be overpriced and though I’d like to hear the unreleased songs, I doubt they’re anything special.

The live tracks show just how boring their set list has been since 1981.

They basically play the same songs every show.

Only a couple are moderately rare here.

If there was a 2 CD version I’d be interested, but I’ll pass.

Definitely not over-priced. $50 and that is full retail. Once vendor competition kicks in, I'd guess the price drops to $42 or $43. For 4 CDs and a Blu-ray, that's pretty good.

I also think Fool If You Love Him is pretty good. Thumbs up from me. Just getting fully finished stuff with Lou Gramm in his prime is almost always going to get a positive review from me.

I agree, it's dreadful! The art on the discs looks especially bad, hardly matching the artwork of the original single sleeves.
