While his run on the Doctor is often maligned and blamed for the series being cancelled, I've taken a shine recently to Sylvester McCoy's Doctor. Yes, probably half the episodes that I've seen so far are kind of poorly written. I just don't think they suffered because of McCoy, who I find interesting.
Of course I also liked him as Radagast the Brown in the Hobbit movies, so take that as a comparison.
I've seen most of McCoy's Doctor Who episodes now from Seasons 24 and 25, but nothing from 26. I catch them online showing on Tubi.

Jon Pertwee was the first Doctor I ever saw as a kid, followed by Tom Baker then Peter Davidson - so those three were the ones I voted for. I stopped watching the show sometime in the early part of Colin Baker's run and never really came back to it.

I only recently started seeing the episodes with Colin Baker in them. The PBS channel in my area stopped showing them after Peter Davison. So everything I knew about Doctor Who after that I read in Sci-Fi or comic magazines. I feel that Colin was just playing the Doctor as more of a Kawwnnt, and I'm okay with that. It was a different approach. A more confident aloft Time Lord. From what I've seen in interviews of Colin, he seems rather likable. Seems a shame that the BBC fired him. I think some of his more recent audio adventures of the Sixth Doctor have been pretty good.

Tom Baker remains my #1 favorite Doctor---you never forget your 1st. For #2 & #3,Smith and Capaldi, just because. On a different day,two different Doctors might've made the cut. As for the others,I don't dislike any of them.I like some more than others, some of them weren't shown in the best light, but all of them deserved their time in the TARDIS. As for the others, the "unofficial" ones, the only one I disliked was Richard E. Grant, who played the part in the "Scream of the Shalka" animated webcast. He played the Doctor without any trace of charm, which should be essential to the part.To be fair,it is a terrible story, which goes back to what I said about Doctors needing to be shown in the best light.

John Pertwee deserves some love.

It's Smith, Tennant, Capaldi for me. I haven't seen enough of the early Doctors to have much of an opinion on them. I genuinely liked Jodi Whitaker, but I think she was hamstrung with the material she was given, mainly trying to shoehorn three (well, four) companions into the storyline. There was never a chance to really develop the relationship between her and any of the companions, although they did trend that way w/Yaz towards the end, but it was too little too late. Chibnall's stories didn't have nearly enough of the light-heartedness that I liked from the earlier years, and it felt too much like he wanted to develop a completely new show. I'd have loved to see more of the classic villains, but most of all, I'd have loved to have seen Whitaker's doctor encounter River Song. That said, I still think that the Rosa episode can stand with some of the best of the previous years.
Ncuti Gatwa is still an incomplete for me, but I feel like it's trending in a direction I like for the most part. I'm curious to start watching the new season.
