After 3 excellent solo albums, this was a major disappointment, I remember buying it but it must be buried around here someplace. His solo career was doing as well as The Eagles but somehow even a Henley loses their muse.
Saw him at Jones Beach in 1991 and thought he was excellent live.

It's easily his worst album, I am sure anything he added as a bonus track wouldn't be worth spending another $15 on. So this way you won't have to buy it and contribute more to his millions.

I like the album, but I do not recall any issue with the sound that makes a remaster appealing without some detail on the remaster or bonus material. It is coming out on vinyl, etc. too, so that is likely the raison d’etre for this release.

I was just thinking today about bonus tracks. Playing some older CDs and thinking these were some really good albums. They didn't have any bonus tracks and were quite short. Overall, I can count on 1 hand albums with bonus tracks that are actually good. Most of the ones that do have bonus tracks may have 1 that stands out as excellent and the rest are okay to subpar material. Off the top of my head I can't really think of 1 album where all of the bonus tracks are all great, can you?

For me, bonus tracks make listening drag on and on. A lot of times, they aren't worth the time (which is why they usually aren't on any album to begin with). The bonus stuff I do like is any live stuff.
As it is, the labels seem to mostly control this stuff anyway.

the 4 bonus tracks added to CSNY's '4 way street' are all excellent.

The two bonus tracks that were added to the original Planet P Project album were very good.

Yep, generally live stuff is where it is at.
For studio outtakes one which jumps out is the bonus material from Jerry Garcia Band's "Run For The Roses" I generally am a fan of the Bowie bonus material from the Ryko releases (but they also were in the camp of a little goes a long way...just a few bonus tracks.)

The Ryko Bowies often irritated me by having material which didn't necessarily relate to the album to which they were appended. But overall I am a huge fan of bonus tracks. I enjoy comparing different takes of songs, I like variant mixes and edits and remixes. Live versions... I Hard to complain about having more music by an artist you enjoy. When Sony Legacy was regularly releasing expanded editions from the mid-90s to 2010 or so, there was a lot of great material to be found. Rhino, and Blue Note from the same era. I have thousands of CDs with excellent bonus tracks.
