This year, 2024, Clannad, the BAFTA and Grammy award winning Irish band, celebrate the 40th Anniversary of 'Legend', the classic soundtrack to 'Robin of Sherwood', the acclaimed 1980s British TV series, based on the legend of Robin Hood. Highlights from this classic album include 'Robin of Sherwood', 'Lady Marian' and 'Now Is Here'. This very special 40th Anniversary edition includes eleven previously unreleased tracks taken from the classic TV series. The ten year search for these 'lost' tracks is over. Recorded in London and Dublin, produced by Tony Clarke (original album) and Pól Brennan (bonus tracks for Legend 40th).

Thank you, Linda. I've loved this band since I saw Robin of Sherwood as a kid.

Fab !! I'll have to get this, 'cause it's all about MEEEE (from a previous life, ha). This CD came out before I discovered Clannad, and I only vaguely knew of this "Robin of Sherwood" 80s TV series back in the day, but never saw it.

I do have 1 Clannad CD, and others by Enya and Moya, always meant to get a Clannad comp.

The TV series on DVD seems to be out of print, as in commanding high prices now on Amazon. But I see that episodes are viewable on YouTube.

It airs free on Amazon Prime Video. I've been watching for a short time, just beginning the 2nd season.
