Congrats.

I remember the Black Hood from the Archie digests. He was kind of a poor man's Batman, as I recall.

Is it me - or does the Hood look a little "Colan-esque" on that cover?

I always include EC in the Golden Age. I know a lot of folks like to define the comic book eras by super-hero trends, but when you got books like CRIME DOES NOT PAY claiming 6 million readers (which even by the funky math where readership is determined by circulation times 5), it's hard to say that era wasn't still Golden.

Wow, those comics really were more violent before the comics code. Even the paintings have murderous intentions.
