Maybe it will include an entire disc of just alternate takes and remixes of the Nutopian International Anthem. I could definitely see John doing that!!

Amazon says that the CD/Blu-ray has been delayed by only one month, to July 12th. Pre-order links are now in the first post but are not active yet. Based on what the initial UK list price will be, these links might actually be for a smaller edition. More info soon.

No standalone demos, no "Meat City" 45 mix, no "Rock 'N Roll People", no "I'm The Greatest"... and what the H is the difference between Elements Mixes and Elemental Mixes?

This is a copy and paste and not original text from me:
• ELEMENTAL MIXES – Simpler stripped-back, lean-back arrangements, erring towards the acoustic, with John’s voice to the fore, and without drums.
• ELEMENTS MIXES – These highlight specific performances from the musicians, sometimes unheralded or unheard. These reduce the songs to the minimum amount of instruments possible; at most, only three instruments are heard at any one time. With the focus taken away from John’s vocal, the delicacy and nuance of these performers is allowed to shine through.

Here's the trailer for all editions -- the massive Super Deluxe version with vinyl and assorted froof (the edition for which JohnG nearly fainted at the price upthread) appears to be exclusive to Lennon's own website:
And a lyric video for the demo of the title track:

I did pre-order the 6CD/2BR from Amazon US (the UK link is currently stating 'currently unavailable'). Will see if I change my mind though. Price is high, but also personally I am getting album deep-dive box set fatigue. This really hit home recently when I was listening recently to Abbey Road's 'other' discs. Though I do feel the Lennon sets do a better job with the extras. I miss the 'anthology' types of boxes (or 'complete' album collections).

It is my favorite Lennon album because I bought it when I was just 13 years old! Buying a Lennon album was a big deal for this kid (who usually just bought 45s, don’t know why the song Mind Games resonates with me but it should be played on radio (XM) more.
So it’s the 6CD/2BR for me.

I asked on the John Lennon Instagram about these, and got an "official" response: "wait and find out." So here's hoping there will be Easter eggs. And a lower price.

Hi, all.
Since no one has mentioned it, I have to assume I'm the only one having problems with disc 1 of this collection. When I put the disc in my computer, a list of 90 tracks appears (as opposed to the expected 12). There are no disc or track titles. The duration seem right as the first 12 tracks have realistic durations. Tracks 13 through 90, though, have 24 seconds each. When I put the disc in my regular disc player, I see 12 tracks with no title information.
I just received a replacement set from Amazon and am having the same problem.
The music is there, so I can live with the problem. Just seems very strange.
