VIDEO At first I was like, "They're rebooting Hulk? Is that the Gamma Bomb?" When I found out it was an Oppenheimer movie, I wasn't at all let down though.

I haven't seen it yet. but since it won the Oscar last night, I thought I'd bump it up. Welll...more importantly, I saw this quote online and thought it was clever: "is Oppenheimer/Godzilla Minus One the first time a movie and its sequel both won Oscars in the same year?"

That is pretty good!
I am ashamed to say I would like to watch Godzilla Minus One and have no interest in Oppenheimer.

I was underwhelmed by Oppy. It was well put together and well acted, but just not that enjoyable to me.

I was moderatelywhelmed by Oppy. It was well put together and well acted, and a subject of interest to me.

Is it much better than Fat Man and Little Boy ?VIDEO VIDEO Well, I guess FMaLB didn't win any Oscars, but I recall enjoying it and I'm looking forward to seeing Oppy.

Oppenheimer was fantastic. Great acting, storytelling, memorable. I was sucked in and the movie just flew by. I honestly wasn't expecting to like it.
All that said, it's the kind of movie that you really don't need to see again. But I highly recommend a viewing!

In the 1980s there was a BBC series called Oppenheimer that starred Sam Waterston. It is one of the best things i have ever seen on TV, and Waterstone was fecking memerising in the role. Consequently, perhaps, I don't have an interest in the movie, for all that I would probably enjoy it.
