Well...I bought a Noise Marine model...and two new brushes...and a little handle thing to put the model on as I'm painting it...I have yet to build it, but I'm going to photograph all the bits and pieces, the paints, etc, and try to demonstrate the entire process. I'm sure everyone will be leaning forward on their cahirs for that.

In the meantime, here's a completed Noise Marine done by a professional painter.

Mine won't look anything like this, of course, but I decided to get it because...well, it was one I loved back in the 80's and I never got to buy one. They were made of 'white metal' then and cost a fortune. This one is plastic and I decided I'd like to paint it for old time's sake.
I still have my old brushes - and two new ones - as well as all my old paints and a can of undercoat so...as soon as I get a few things done in the garden I'm going to embark on my return to Warhammer.
Here's a Wiki entry on precisely who and what the Noise Marines are.
