Description
Richard Wright’s debut solo album, Wet Dream, is to be released for the first time on Blu-ray, including a 5.1 mix and never-before-released personal images and videos from around this period of his life. It will initially be made available on CD on August 18, with the Blu-ray edition releasing on November 10.

Anyone have Zee's Idendity? Or heard it? I've read mixed opinions of it. If that ever sees the light of day remastered, is it worth it?

his other album, 'broken china' is very good also.

and both are superior to anything waters did/does solo.

It was remastered and reissued on CD (with bonus tracks) and very limited vinyl as Identity 2019 by Dave Harris, Wright's erstwhile partner in Zee.

I like Identity, but it's rather dated-sounding and is really a showcase for the Fairlight CMI synthesizer, with Harris as the primary singer. Wright's backing vocals are almost non-existent.

I have Broken China. Decent, but not great. Worth having.

No comment on Waters. I've said enough in the past.

I just read on the Pink Floyd website that this is also being issued as a Dolby Atmos mix by Steven Wilson on blu ray. If you are a surround fan, stay tuned for this version.

The Blu-ray isn't yet orderable from Amazon, but should be soon -- the link is in the first post.

The Blu-ray version has been upgraded to include more content due to fan whining- I mean, suggestion!



It would be nice if the flat transfer of the stereo mix and the instrumental versions of the vocal tracks were included on the CD. Seeing as that's not happening, guess I will go for the Blu instead.

The release date for the Blu-ray has been pushed back to November 10th.

My blu-ray arrived last week. I've listened to the Atmos and 5.1 mixes and they're both fantastic. I hadn't played the original album in at least a decade and this was a nice reminder of how great it is. The inclusion of two videos, which are basically Richard and his friends/bandmates on the water (including an appearance by David Gilmour) soundtracked by two songs, was a pleasant surprise. On the back of the package, it states "Duration: 75 mins." but the album itself is only 45 minutes long. Does anyone know if this is a misprint, or am I missing 30 minutes of bonus material?
