The Great Yarmouth show on CD 5 is excellent quality. It has already been released on one of those grey market CD's.
Which begs the question: There have been a number of Grand Slam archive releases over the years. What, if anything, is previously unreleased in this set?

Does anyone know if John Sykes on any of this ?
YES- Sykes (and Downey also) are on Disc 2. Technically that 1983 Orebro Sweden performance was a Phil Lynott solo gig, not “Grand Slam”- nonetheless it is included in this set, which is a good thing.
Most of this material has been previously released, on Zoom Club and/ or various other “semi official” labels:
Disc 1- 2022 REMIXES
(New)
Disc 2-OREBRO 1983
(Same as “Phil Lynott live in Sweden 1983”, disc 1) previously on zoom club
Disc 3- LIFFORD 1984
(Some Lifford tracks appeared on “Live 1984 / Galway / Castlebar / Lifford”) previously on zoom club
Disc 4- LONDON 1984
(Same as “BBC session November 17th, 1984”) previously on bootlegs only?
Disc 5- Great Yarmouth 1984
(Same as “Live Document”) previously on various “semi official” releases
Disc 6- DEMOS
(Most on “Studio Sessions”) previously on zoom club
Other than the Disc 1 “2022 remixes”, I don’t know what (if anything) Cleopatra has done to enhance the sound quality over prior versions, as they haven’t mentioned any other production details or remastering, etc. in their pre- release promos. I guess we won’t find out until we get it.
I will say that they have generally selected some of the better quality stuff that’s out there for this set- so if you don’t have the other Zoom Club/ etc. versions, this would be a good place to start. I’ll be picking one up if only for the repackaging vs. all the “odd & ends” I have.
