Description
Marshall Crenshaw's second album, containing the hit "Whenever You're on My Mind," has been remastered by Greg Calibi for this 40th Anniversary Expanded Edition. The CD contains 6 bonus songs, 5 of which are previously unreleased. There's an interview with Crenshaw about the album and additional liner notes from him. The booklet also has photos from the era.

I usually don't like to see redesigned covers, but the original Field Day cover was atrocious. This is not a great cover, but it's definitely an improvement.

This is quite an underrated album that came out the same exact time as Journey’s “Frontiers”, Styx’s “Kilroy Was Here”, and Def Leppard’s “Pyromania”. It didn’t stand a chance of making it on the radio.
