So it seems like they will finally finish the story and the first new issue came out. Thoughts? Not sure how I felt about this one

Bates appearing in YM's brain had no explanation at all. And the focus on his sexuality was off putting and unneeded

Yeah, I don't believe that. Gaiman rewrote his own first two issues from thirty years ago when they were republished this year. This isn't even going to be the same story that Gaiman planned to write originally.

I am sure Neil read Moore's notes, but I doubt there is much Moore left in the new series.
