Evergreen saw Echo & The Bunnymen carry off a comeback that was commercially, conceptually, and critically on a par with their great historic past achievements. The album returned the band to the UK album charts at #8, with 3 singles (‘Nothing Lasts Forever’, ‘I Want to Be There [When You Come]’ and ‘Don’t Let It Get You Down’) entering the UK top 50. Their highest-ever charting single ‘Nothing Lasts Forever’ (with backing vocals and tambourine by Liam Gallagher) has grown to become one of the band’s most enduring and well-loved songs - a UK Top 10 and a fan favourite to this day. To celebrate its 25-year anniversary, London Records releases Evergreen as an expanded and remastered 2 CD edition, featuring studio B-sides, unreleased live tracks, studio acoustic sessions and live takes of early classics such as ‘The Killing Moon’, ‘Bedbugs and Ballyhoo’ and ‘Lips Like Sugar’.

One of their very best albums and a UK Top 10 album in 1997 with three hit singles.

I’ll be getting this for sure and hope that the other London Records album also gets a deluxe.
