* This collection features all their A and B sides that were issued, from the UK to Bolivia (!), and show the band at the height of their powers
* Sadly, "Fast" Eddie Clarke died in 2018 and with him Fastway
* Digitally remastered and slipcased, and with new notes

Yes they were touted as the new LZ. I clearly remember hearing that on the radio and reading in I think Kerrang magazine. I’ll get this even though I have 90% of it on the Rock Candy remasters.

Good, no-nonsense hard rock. The singer, David King, could absolutely wail. The first album is a classic. I thought the second one (All Fired Up) was darn good too and what new material there was on the Trick or Treat soundtrack was pretty solid.

The Zeppelin comparisons weren't crazy for that first record.

The first two albums were awesome and were produced by Eddie Kramer.

The label then destroyed the band and turned them commercial and had Eddie Clarke fire Jerry Shirley and Charlie McCracken because they were “too old” and turned it into the Dave King Band with crappy synths and hair metal and be younger musicians.

Thankfully the third album bombed and they rocked for one more album which was the soundtrack album to Trick or Treat.

King is now with Flogging Molly and has been there for years.

I saw Fastway live in 1983 and they were the real deal.
