And yeh, I agree with Rick that it's a terrific set which definitely will not disappoint fans of Robert Harrison's previous band, Cotton Mather. It sort of reminds me of the journey that Roy Wood took from The Move to Wizzard ~ not just because Robert has gone all Woody-esque in his appearance on the cover!

~ but in the sense that his songwriting chops are pretty much the same as they ever were (wordy, clever, Beatles-y) but he's presenting the songs in the context of a larger cast of musicians and some strange instrumentation.
Now, I had been following the genesis of this project over at the Cotton Mather forum for years ... Robert's original concept was to record all these tracks as two separate albums, the first being a Cotton Mather farewell disc, the second being his first solo release. Eventually he decided to put them all out in one 2-CD set under the name Future Clouds And Radar. But disc one
does sound quite a bit like what a final Cotton Mather album might have sounded like ~ their White Album era, if you will ~ and disc two does sound more like Robert stretching out in a more experimental solo setting.
