Here's the lyric video for the first track, "Harridan" Sounds great to me. Sad to hear that bassist Colin Edwin is no longer a member of Porcupine Tree. Speculation is that Nick Beggs will take his place, and might even be on this recording, but I wouldn't be surprised if the bass is handled here by Wilson himself.

Description of the CD/Blu-ray version from Burning Shed:
Quote:
Porcupine Tree - one of the UK’s most forward-thinking, genre-defying rock bands - returns with its first new music in twelve years.
Over a decade in the making, CLOSURE/CONTINUATION is a grand statement wholly worthy of the revered PT name.
Deluxe CD/Blu-ray boxset with three bonus tracks, instrumental versions, and high resolution 96/24 stereo, 5.1 and Dolby Atmos versions of the album. Presented in an exclusive art book.
The tracklisting will be announced over the coming months. Limited to one per person.
Porcupine Tree is Steven Wilson, Richard Barbieri and Gavin Harrison.

Tickets have gone on sale for Porcupine Tree’s 2022 Tour through North America. I just picked up 2 tickets for the Radio City Music Hall show in September. I am absolutely thrilled that I get to see them once again (actually saw their last show there at Radio City). Also thrilled that the concert is in September and not October (since I will be in Hawaii that month). Everything has come together very nicely this year.

I got 2 tickets in the first mezz level, an aisle seat in the center so a perfect seat to experience sight and sound. Radio City remains the premier place to see a concert in NYC. We have that day already planned. An early visit to the city (Central Park), dinner at Gallagher’s Steakhouse and then the show.

I preordered the 2CD+blu-ray deluxe edition from Amazon, hoping I would have it on release date (today) but, as with many products recently, it appeared as unavailable today. A friend of mine preordered the super deluxe edition from Townsend Music (the official store) the day it was announced, and he hasn't even received a notice of shipment. I guess after 12-13 years I can wait a little longer.

My copy of the Super Deluxe Set was also delayed but it is shipping now. Meanwhile I have been enjoying the album on Apple Music in Dolby Atmos sound. I would have to classify the album as a grower as at times it sounds like one of his solo albums and at other times Porcupine Tree. The drumming on this album is particularly good!
The album is also doing well around the world.
Looking forward to their NYC show in September.

Thanks so much for this folks! The album has also gone to number 1 in Germany, The Netherlands and Switzerland, with more chart updates still coming in. Now that’s what I call a comeback! @porcupinetreeofficial
Nope it is charting in many countries not only the UK.
Not a fan I guess?

Still no update from Amazon about the status of the 2CD+blu-ray edition, but several other notable sites are showing it with a new release date of August 12, so I'll assume that's the case and hope that Amazon ships mine at that time.

Never did receive the Deluxe Set from the original purveyor of the product from the UK which was a pre-order back in 2021. Lots of people pissed about the unnamed company. So I switched to a more reliable purveyor and the product is shipping as I type. Much better. At least I have been listening to the new album via Apple Music for a week in Dolby Atmos sound. The album is a grower, not my favorite SW or PT album yet but after each listen I get more and more into it.

This one (the deluxe version w/surround mix) is still on my list. Amazon is only offering 3rd party sales for it at the moment, at outrageous prices, so I am considering a Burning Shed order...

I actually saved quite a bit of $$$ by canceling the original preorder (guess the conversion rates changed since 2021) and went with Burning Shed. They are a much better company.

I'm not a fan, but Steven Wilson is about as successful today as many prog artists were back in their classic era of the 1970s. What he doesn't do well is distribution in North America.

Another weird thing is if you just want the regular CD, it isn’t available in the US (or at a very inflated prices) and even worse it only has 7 tracks when Apple Music and the deluxe has 10 tracks. And those 3 tracks are important.
One of the songs Population Three is a tour de force! The other 2 are gorgeous.
I guess Steven Wilson doesn’t have a good US distributor, he once did.
