"uncirculated recordings..." does that mean possible CD with the book? Might go for it then...

He's using the "uncirculated recordings" to clarify what he heard at the concerts. The book doesn't come with a CD.

This is correct. The author used these tapes to confirm set lists etc. Nearly every image in the book is previously unpublished; gleaned from fans who dug through their old pics just for this project.
