Watched the first episode. Hilarious. Right on point. But warning: There's full-frontal (old) male nudity.

Started watching. I always liked them. I even found Brain Candy to be really funny....unlike the two people i went to the cinema with :)

I think Brain Candy is far better than its reputation. I didn't have time over the weekend to check out the new series, but I'm looking forward to it. Doubly so with the geriatric male frontal nudity!

We found the new series to be excellent. As with the original, there are a couple bits that fell flat w/us, but there were several standouts. There's a Dave/Kevin skit in episode four that had me howling. Dave's apocalyptic DJ has left me conflicted - I used to associate Melanie's "Brand New Key" with that scene in Boogie Nights, but now Dave tends to pop to mind before Heather Graham. The Gavin skit was quite good, and the return of the Eradicator is a great example of how much some things have changed when it comes to recreational sports. I'm already halfway through my second watching, and I'm still loving it.

I watched a few episodes. It was okay. Like the old Kids in the Hall series, I quite enjoy about half of the skits,
and even in the bits that don't work as well for me there's always something that can get me to chuckle. I'm
glad they were able to get back together and make something new.

I only saw the first 3 episodes, but I felt they were less funny than before and their hit or miss ratio was down a bit. While I would always recommend owning the kids earlier stuff on DVD, from what I saw in the first 3 new episodes, I couldn't recommend buying the series on DVD.

Possibly they got better, but I usually feel they would have used their better material to start off to catch an audience.

It is fun to see them resurrect some of their old characters, though.

Maybe they can find 40 older Helens to agree with that.

My friend David had his ID stolen. Now everybody just calls him Dave. He hates that.

One of their skits from the new series...

I liked that one but it was a little predictable. I laughed the hardest at the final scene/joke. Unexpected.

I miss the occasional skit in front of the studio audience like the old series. I thought the droppage rate OB skit was great, and the Imaginary Girlfriend skit was one I really enjoyed as well.

I don't ever need to see Mark McKinney's AT&Love boss (*cough* Lorne Michaels *cough*) character again. A little of that goes a long way.
