Tricky Kid brought our attention to an error in the Blu-ray tracklist that Sony had originally solicited. I've updated the opening post with the correct tracklist.

I'm going to pass on this one. After seeing the DVD in the Purple Rain set, I am very skeptical that they can really do that much with the video outside of "noise reductioning" the hell out of it which wouldn't be a net improvement IMO.

I agree there's not much chance of the picture being improved, but I like sound of the remix so I'm getting it for the CDs. They'll get far more play than the Blu-ray in my house anyway.

This showed up on my door yesterday, so I’ve got it on the big screen 5.1 system. The sound is definitely good, with the guitars and bass very present in the mix. The picture definitely shows the limitation of the source.
You can definitely tell they’d been on the road for a bit as the band is ridiculously in sync - not just tight as a band, but also movement on stage. Very enjoyable so far.

Currently playing CD 1.I really love the mix on this release. Nice balance and you can really appreciate the interplay of the band, and as ted262 stated, they are really tight. Great performance. Some of Prince's coy, seducing the audience bit is even more insufferable without the visuals (to my surprise), but heck, it's Prince, I'll give him a pass. A terrific release.
