On a big Kevin Maguire kick. When I started looking for images to do this, I wasn't expecting it to be a Justice League #1 homage dump... but that's what's out there, apparently!

Very nice. This is a rare example of a cartoonist adapting life likenesses into his own style. They look both like the real people and Maguire's own characters.

(He should have finished inking Robin's hair, though. )

Fine cartoonist. My only complaint about his art is that the faces of his characters can get too expressive. It's as if they are mugging for the audience.

The other style of commission he does that seems very popular is this full color single figure. I'm guessing some LOS fan with a lot of dough went bonkers...

I generally like Maguire's work, but he tends to give everyone the same broad nose.

It's probably Copic markers. They're alcohol markers that you can blend colors really well.

Not the color markers, they're super expensive but apparently refillable.
