Fred Parris lead singer of the Five Satins passed away on Thursday January 13th. Their single “In the Still of the Night” is generally considered to be one of the best Doo Wop songs of all time. He was from New Haven. In the Still of the Night was recorded in East Haven. He lived in Hamden.
A Connecticut legend.
Rest In Peace.
