I luckily saw the Doc-era Tonight Show Band in the late 80s at the Valley Forge Music Fair on one of their rare tours (the venue was famous in the area for its rotating stage). Band sounded sensational and it was such a thrill to see the actual guys (and featured singer Rosemary Clooney) in person!

Loved that theater; not a bad seat in the place and fantastic sound. Sinatra played there, Kiss played there, Cheech and Chong played there. Torn down in the '90s and the site was turned into a shopping mall. Because, of course, we needed another one of those.
