I am a huge Bruce Cockburn fan, but this may be the first release I ever skip. I wish there was something new on it.

But if he just threw one new song on, wouldn't everyone be complaining that they had to buy a new CD for just one song?

Someone will always complain about something (myself included, I guess). I have his entire catalogue and about 30 live shows of his from throughout his career. I think I'll just fire up the Rumours of Glory boxset instead.

I'm guessing he's suffering financially from the pandemic and that this may have something to do with the decision to release this. Aside from the Beatles, he has been the most important recording artist to me over the past 40 years. I would have preferred a live show or two and would have paid a premium for that. Or, I'd rather support him via Patreon, as I do with Lloyd Cole and Tim Easton.

Apparently BC chose the songs. I'm surprised, I feel he left out a lot of his best work. It's also mastered loud.
